Understand the changing needs of young people leaving care and the challenges they face.

You must be practical and flexible and able to respond to a variety of situations. This will require you to work in a trauma-informed way.

Need basic IT skills,

Level 2 NVQ or equivalent.

Excellent interpersonal skills and understand the importance of working within equal opportunities, safeguarding and confidentiality guidelines.

Communicate on different levels both verbally and in writing, and have good life skills.
Senior support worker

Undergo a DBS check

Recent experience working either as a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker or as a Children's Residential Support Worker in a Children's Home.

NVQ level 2 for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification).

Full UK Driving Licence.
